Join us as we discuss women designing and building a future for Girls Inc.

Hear from two dynamic women in architecture and engineering leading an inspiring collaboration with Girls Inc of Omaha. Their project brings together an intentionally women-led team to design and build a new space for Girls Inc—one that reflects the organization’s mission to empower girls to be strong, smart, and bold. We’ll also be joined by Girls Inc of Omaha Executive Director Candias Jones, who will share the vision behind the project and the critical need it addresses.

Megan Jarosz has been a valued team member of Holland Basham Architects (HBA) since 2009 and currently serves as an Associate Partner. With a Master of Architecture from the University of Nebraska and over 22 years of experience, Megan has contributed to a wide range of project types—including early childhood development, higher education, and mixed-use developments, but her true passion lies in community-focused projects.

Megan is deeply committed to the empowerment of women and girls, and she leads by example through her involvement with multiple organizations and non-profits where she champions education, support, collaborative, and inclusivity. In addition to Girls Inc, she is active with the Women’s Fund, CREW, and the Career Explorers program. Notably, her own participation in the Career Explorers program as a young student sparked her initial interest in architecture—a full-circle moment that now fuels her dedication to mentoring the next generation. Megan’s “pay it forward” philosophy is evident in all she does, making her a respected leader, mentor, and advocate for meaningful community engagement.

Known for her exceptional skills in leadership, communication, and project management—including planning, time, risk, cost, and quality management—Megan is frequently entrusted with the firm’s most complex and coordination-intensive projects. Her strategic approach and attention to detail are integral to the continued success of HBA.
