Join us to learn about the state legislative process and to connect with state senators.
Participants will learn about the process of passing laws in the Nebraska Legislature and how to effectively communicate with policymakers before breaking into small groups to visit directly with state senators. This event is open to all women in STEM careers or individuals who support the growth of STEM careers. There will be an optional virtual meeting on Monday, March 22 to help participants prepare for the experience.

9:15am – Presentation from a state senator
10am – Observe legislative debate
10:30am – Visit in small groups with state senators
Noon – Lunch and debrief
